Everyone is invited to attend. We are pleased to extend a discount to all organizational and individual USGBC members. We support equitable access by providing emerging professional and students with discounted access. 

 

Are there sponsorship opportunities?  

Not for this year but we would love to talk to you about next year. We can put you on a list so we can reach out you as we begin planning for next year. We invite you to check out our prospectus to see what the benefits were for this year.

The event will be in-person at the Entrepreneurs Sandbox, 643 Ilalo St. Honolulu, HI 96813

Is parking available?

Paid parking in designated stalls will be available during the conference. Parking is located in Lot C behind the building.  Payment information is available on signage within the lot which includes a QR code.  Please contact Secure Parking for any parking questions.  Additional information can be found in the e-mail reminder sent out. Designated Entrepreneurs Sandbox parking is for members and tenants only.

Is this a Green Event?

The 2022 Build + Buy Green Event at the Entrepreneurs Sandbox is participating as a green event in the Hawaii Green Business Program. To be a green event, the Build + Buy Green was planned with the intent of conserving Hawaii’s natural resources by implementing practices that conserve and save water, energy, and lower the amount of solid waste generated.

 

Some of the green measures at the Entrepreneurs Sandbox are the use of ENERGY STAR equipment, LED lighting, and low-flow fixtures. The event will have recycling bins, eco-friendly food service ware, and USGBC will donate excess food from the event to the Next Step shelter. Local food will be served and provided by Roots Café and Touch of Heart.

 

We ask that you as an attendee take some green actions in support of this event by:

• Bringing reusable water container

• Bringing reusable utensils

• Considering a mode of active transportation (biking, walking, or public transportation)

• Considering carpooling with coworkers or friends

PARKING - Lot C Parking located on Ewa side of The Sandbox.  Secure Parking with QR code is $1/hour and $8/day max.

 

Biki : $4.50 / ride

• You cannot reserve a Biki bike. You can check how many bikes at a station on the app. A credit card is needed to pay at the station, or you can use the PBSC app to make an account and setup a subscription.

Hui: $12 / hour

• You must download the app and make an account to make reservation. A credit or debit card is the only accepted form of payment.

Bus: $3 / single fare, unlimited transfers for 2.5 hrs (cash or Holo card)

• Use Google Maps or the Transit app to check full routes. The nearest stop is at Coral Street and Ala Moana Boulevard.

  • 20 Airport – Az Memorial – Stadium – Pearlridge (approx. every 30 min)

  • 42 Ewa Beach via Arizona Memorial (approx. every 20 – 40 min)

  • 60 Kaneohe-Haleiwa (approx. every 30 min)

  • 65 Kaneohe – Ahuimanu (approx. every 30 min)

  • 67 Honolulu – Ala Moana Center  (approx. every 30 min)

  • 88A  North Shore Express (6am only)

Will continuing education credits be available?

Yes, we will be offering GBCI and AIA continuing education hours for most sessions.
